Terms of Sale & Refunds

These terms explain how our printable games and other digital downloads are supplied, how to contact us for support, and how refund and consumer rights are handled.
1. Seller and scope
Quarter to Eight is operated by Lion Transformation Partners GmbH, Neuhofstrasse 4, 6330 Cham, Switzerland ("we", "us" or "our"). We supply the digital products described on our website and in our Whop store. The terms that apply to an individual order are the terms made available before the purchase and any mandatory consumer rights. Use of Whop is also subject to Whop's applicable platform terms.
2. Digital products
Our products are downloadable digital files, such as printable escape hunts, games and creative activities. Unless a product listing expressly says otherwise, nothing physical is shipped. Each product listing describes the file contents, age guidance, player count, format, intended usage and any needed materials. Where applicable, printable files are provided in US Letter + A4.
3. Ordering and payment
When you select "Get the Game" or another purchase link, you are taken to Whop. There, review the product, price, currency, applicable tax and order details before using the final payment control. You should have an opportunity to check and correct information before confirming the order. Your order is processed on Whop, and your access or order confirmation is provided through that service. If seller details or payment terms are unclear at checkout, please contact us before placing an order.
We are responsible for our product listings, content and customer support. Whop and its payment partners process payments and manage payment security. For payment-layer issues such as a duplicate card charge, you can also contact Whop at support@whop.com.
4. Prices, discounts and taxes
Current prices, promotional discounts, available payment methods, currency and applicable taxes are displayed on the Whop product page or checkout. The amount shown at the final checkout step is the amount payable for that order. Promotional offers may change or expire; a discount applies only if it is shown as valid at checkout. We do not charge physical shipping fees for digital-only products.
5. Digital delivery and technical requirements
Once payment is successfully processed, digital product access is generally available promptly through Whop. You may need an email address and/or a Whop account to access your purchase. For PDFs, you will need a compatible device and PDF reader; to use printable products you will also need a printer and any supplies listed on the product page. Download and access instructions are provided through Whop or with the product files.
If you cannot access a purchased download, contact hello@quarterto8.com with the product name and order details so we can investigate.
6. Personal-use licence
Unless a product listing specifies a different licence, purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and print the files for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may print the copies reasonably required for the family or private group participating in your activity. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly upload, share original digital files with third parties, repackage, claim authorship of or commercially exploit the content without prior written permission. Contact us if you need a school, organisational, commercial-event or other extended licence.
7. Refunds, access problems and defects
Digital products can normally be accessed immediately after successful payment. For a correctly delivered product, we do not generally offer a voluntary change-of-mind refund once access or download has been provided, unless the relevant product offer expressly states otherwise. This policy does not limit any non-excludable statutory rights.
If a payment is duplicated, a download is inaccessible, or a file is missing, defective or materially different from its description, email hello@quarterto8.com with the order details. We will review the issue and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include replacement, correction or a refund. Where Whop handles a payment reversal, the refund will normally be returned via the original payment method.
8. Rights of withdrawal for certain consumers
Swiss law does not generally provide a universal statutory withdrawal period for ordinary online purchases. Customers in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom or other jurisdictions may have mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights that apply to their purchase.
For example, EU consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. In the case of digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that right may be lost after digital performance begins only if the applicable legal requirements are fulfilled, including the customer's prior express consent to early performance, acknowledgement that the withdrawal right will be lost, and any required confirmation. Where those requirements have not been met, rights provided by law continue to apply.
To make a withdrawal or other statutory rights request, contact hello@quarterto8.com with your order details and a clear statement of your request. No provision of these terms overrides your mandatory consumer protections.
9. Product use and limitations
We take care in creating our products, but individual enjoyment, puzzle-solving time and printing results may vary. Age guidance and play-time estimates are indicative. Product content is entertainment and creative material, not professional advice. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricts your statutory remedies for non-conforming digital goods.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders. Unless legally permitted or agreed, changes will not retrospectively alter the conditions governing a completed purchase.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in the consumer's country of habitual residence. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts under the applicable rules; this clause does not remove mandatory rights to bring proceedings elsewhere.
