This policy explains how Quarter to Eight handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us or buy one of our digital products through Whop.

1. Who we are

Quarter to Eight is a brand operated by Lion Transformation Partners GmbH, Neuhofstrasse 4, 6330 Cham, Switzerland ("we", "us" or "our"). We are responsible for personal data processed for our own website, customer service and sale of our products, to the extent we determine why and how that data is processed.

2. Information we process

  • When you visit our website: technical and connection data that may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested pages, device, browser, referring URL, and security or diagnostic events processed by our hosting provider.
  • Campaign attribution: if you arrive through a link with UTM parameters (such as source, medium or campaign), our site reads those parameters and temporarily stores them in your browser's sessionStorage. It may append them to links that take you to our Whop store. If no parameters are provided, our outbound Whop links may include a generic website referral label.
  • When you contact us: your email address, your message and any details you choose to provide, including order information needed to help you.
  • When you purchase through Whop: Whop may make relevant buyer information available to us, such as a name, email address, items ordered, transaction status and information required to deliver support, handle a refund request, meet legal obligations or manage the customer relationship. We do not receive your full payment card details from Whop.

This version of the website does not contain an active newsletter signup, an advertising pixel or an enabled first-party analytics integration.

3. Why we use your data

We use information to operate and protect the website, answer questions, support digital product purchases, handle legitimate accounting and legal obligations, and understand which links send visitors to our store. Where the EU/EEA or UK GDPR applies, we rely as relevant on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in secure operation and customer support, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where legally required.

4. Hosting and third-party services

Cloudflare

Our website is hosted with Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process connection and security data in providing website delivery and security services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Google Fonts

The current website loads the Fraunces and Manrope typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font resources, technical request information, including your IP address, may be transmitted to Google. See Google's privacy policy. We are reviewing options to minimise third-party requests.

Whop

When you choose to view or buy a product, you leave our site and continue on Whop. Whop operates the payment and product-access environment. For that environment, Whop processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may receive buyer data relevant to our role as the product supplier. Social media

Our footer links to our Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook profiles. Opening any of these links takes you to that provider's service. We do not currently embed social-media tracking widgets on this website.

5. Cookies and browser storage

The Quarter to Eight website does not currently activate advertising cookies or a first-party analytics tracker. It uses browser sessionStorage for the campaign attribution described above. These values are generally cleared when the browser tab's session ends. Cloudflare or other infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary technical or security mechanisms. If we add analytics, advertising or newsletter technologies, we will update this notice and, where legally required, request your consent before enabling them.

6. Where information may be processed

Our service providers may process personal data outside Switzerland, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required by applicable data protection laws, cross-border disclosures must have an adequate legal basis and appropriate safeguards.

7. How long we keep information

We retain relevant information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide customer support, resolve disputes and meet applicable accounting, tax or other legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. Third-party providers also apply their own retention rules to information they control.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability or objection to certain processing. You may withdraw a consent you gave us where the processing depends on that consent, without affecting previous lawful processing. Contact hello@quarterto8.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or an applicable local supervisory authority.

9. Children

Some of our games are designed for families and may be suitable for players aged 10 and over. Purchases and website enquiries are intended for adults or parents/guardians. We do not intentionally collect personal information directly from children through this website.

10. Updates

We may revise this notice when our website, service providers or legal obligations change. The updated version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
